Financing built around what you actually need

🔒
Fixed Interest Rate

Your interest rate is locked in at the time of loan sanction and does not change for the entire repayment tenure

📅
Flexible Repayment Tenure

Choose a tenure from 12 months to 60 months depending on your vehicle category and repayment capacity. A longer tenure lowers your monthly EMI. A shorter tenure reduces total interest paid

💵
High Loan‑to‑Value Financing

Finance up to 85% of your vehicle’s on‑road price of a new vehicle (Personal use/Business) — meaning your out-of-pocket contribution at the time of purchase is kept to a manageable minimum.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Hindusthan finances used vehicles purchased from both dealers and private sellers — subject to vehicle age, condition, and an approved valuation report. The vehicle must not be older than [X] years at the time of loan application. The original RC, valid insurance, and any previous financier's NOC must be provided.

For new vehicles, Hindusthan finances up to [X]% of the on-road price — which includes the ex-showroom price, registration fees, insurance, and accessories as specified in the Proforma Invoice. For used vehicles, financing is up to [X]% of the bank-assessed value. The remaining amount must be arranged by the applicant as a down payment.

Yes. A valid driving licence for the vehicle category being financed is required for all vehicle loan applications. For commercial vehicle loans where the borrower is a business owner who will employ a driver, the borrower's own driving licence may still be required — confirm with your branch at the time of application.

Hypothecation means the vehicle is pledged as security against the loan. This is noted on the vehicle's Registration Certificate (RC) under the financier's name — Hindusthan Co-op. Bank. Once the loan is fully repaid, you will receive a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the bank. You must then visit the RTO to have the hypothecation endorsement removed from the RC. This is a mandatory legal step before you can sell the vehicle.

Yes. Commercial vehicle loans are available for auto-rickshaws, taxis, goods carriers, mini-trucks, and light commercial vehicles used for business or livelihood purposes. Self-employed individuals, small business owners, and fleet operators are all eligible. Income assessment for commercial vehicle loans takes into account the projected income from the vehicle's commercial use.

You cannot transfer ownership of a hypothecated vehicle without clearing the loan first. To sell the vehicle, you must first repay the outstanding loan amount, obtain the NOC from Hindusthan, and have the hypothecation removed from the RC at the RTO. Contact your branch for a loan closure and NOC issuance process.

Yes. Prepayment — partial or full — is permitted at any time during the loan tenure. Prepayment charges apply as per your loan agreement terms. Partial prepayment reduces either your EMI amount or remaining tenure depending on your preference at the time of prepayment — confirm your preference with your branch when making the payment.

Yes. Comprehensive vehicle insurance is mandatory at the time of loan disbursement and must be maintained for the entire loan tenure. The vehicle must be insured for at least the outstanding loan amount. Lapse of insurance during the loan tenure is a violation of the loan agreement terms.
