What is NEFT?
NEFT — National Electronic Funds Transfer — is a secure, RBI-operated payment system that allows you to transfer money to any bank account across India. Unlike real-time systems, NEFT processes transfers in half-hourly batches, ensuring reliable and structured settlements throughout the day. It is the trusted choice for everyday transfers — with no minimum amount, low fees, and round-the-clock availability.

How to Initiate a NEFT Transfer
- 1Before visiting the branch, confirm the following details with your recipient: Beneficiary's full name, Beneficiary's account number, Beneficiary's bank name and branch, Beneficiary's IFSC Code, Transfer amount & Purpose of transfer
- 2Download and fill in the NEFT Instruction Form, or collect a physical copy at your branch. Verify every detail carefully — particularly the account number and IFSC code — before submission. A single incorrect digit in either field will result in a failed or misdirected transfer.
- 3Submit the completed form at your home branch along with your passbook or account number. The applicable charge will be debited from your account at the time of processing. Retain your acknowledgement slip as proof of submission — it contains your transaction reference number.
- 4Your transfer will be processed in the next available batch after submission. Confirm with the beneficiary that funds have been received.
